THE WORLD'S OLDEST KNOWN LEATHER SHOE

Readers can go to this link at the National Geographic to read the original story.

What intrigues me most is that our basic shoe design hasn't changed much despite the transpiration of 5,500 years or so.

It reminds me of a pair of Timberland soft leather sneakers - completely bendable to conserve space in my luggage bag - I once owned during my hectic corporate travelling days.
